I received an education at Newark Technical College on the piano tuning, maintenance & repair course where I gained City and Guilds qualifications in tuning, toning, repair and reconditioning in 1988. I have over 30 years of experience tuning and servicing pianos having started my career as a 17 year old at Middletons Organs where I learned basic maintenance and repair under owner Roy Havercroft. He can also advise you on transporting your piano, piano hire, buying a piano and can check out any piano you are interested in buying/acquiring. He was also sent to Bahrain where he worked to support the Young Musician of the Gulf Competition.Īlthough Shaun has looked after some high quality and even prestigious pianos in his time, he isn't exclusive and is willing to look after your old, battered and beloved upright as long as it's serviceable.
